TRANSCAER

CHEMTREC is a proud Sponsor of the TRANSCAER® (Transportation Community Awareness and Emergency Response) program.  TRANSCAER is a voluntary national outreach iniative that assists communities prepare for and respond to a possible hazardous material (hazmat) transportation incident.

How can TRANSCAER Help My Community?

The TRANSCAER initiative is the umbrella of the hazardous materials (hazmat) transportation industry for emergency response (ER) training, consequence management of an incident, and community outreach.  Each year, TRANSCAER provides unique hands-on training using actual transportation equipment to thousands of emergency responders and local officials, at hundreds of sites nationwide.

Who Participates in TRANSCAER?

TRANSCAER participants include volunteer representatives from the chemical manufacturing, transportation, distributor and emergency response industries as well as government.
