In the course of this Online Sign-Up procedure, you will be asked to:
- Complete Registrant company-related information.
- Provide information for the Administrative Contact who will manage the relationship with CHEMTREC throughout the service period.
- Identify a Billing Contact, if different from the Administrative Contact.
- Provide up to 3 Emergency Contacts who can be reached by CHEMTREC to provide additional product information on a 24x7 basis.
- (Optional) Identify an MSDS contact if different from the Administrative Contact.
- (Optional) Add affiliate organizations.
- Agree to Terms and Conditions, Registration Agreement, and CHEMTREC Fee Schedule.
You will be asked to formally accept the Terms and Conditions contained here, upon completion of the online registration process and as a condition of online submission of the Registration Agreement. Please carefully review these Terms and Conditions, including the CHEMTREC Fee Schedule, prior to completing the online registration. Entering into the Agreement does not relieve the Registrant of its obligations under 49 CFR§ 172.600-604, or its responsibilities regarding notification of local, state, or federal authorities in the event of a reportable incident.

All one-time shipments and same day registrations must be paid by credit card at the time of processing. Optional: Affiliate Registration Pricing:
CHEMTREC registrants may choose to register the names of affiliate companies also shipping hazmat, for coverage under their registration. All incident counts for affiliates roll up to the parent registrant’s total. The parent Administrative, Billing, and Emergency Contacts shall be used for all affiliates. However, for any affiliate wishing to maintain separate Emergency Contacts, a premium of $200/affiliate/year is added. |

Optional: One-Time Shipment at a rate of $50.00 per shipment
One-Time Shipment coverage provides the full CHEMTREC service for a single shipment only within 7 days of registration. Read more about One-Time Shipment registrations.
Examples:
· A single company with no affiliates, expecting no more than 25 incidents per year would be charged $615 per year plus $50 for any incident incurred over the Basic CHEMTREC Registration (also known as Tier 1) allowance of 25 incidents per year.
· A company with 7 affiliates having a total sum for itself and affiliates of 21 incidents per year would be charged $1,815, calculated as $615 for a Tier 1 registration + $1,000 for the first 5 affiliates (5@$200 each) + $200 for the last 2 affiliates (2@$100 each). Additional incidents over 25 per year arising from itself or its affiliates are an extra $50 each.

Refunds A refund for annual registration fees paid, less an administration fee of $50, will be made if a company cancels in writing within the first 30 days of registration. There will be no refunds, full or partial, after 30 days. One-Time Shipment Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Wire Transfer Fee If payment is made by wire transfer, a wire transfer fee of $20.00 must be included in addition to the annual fee.
Service Period The initial service period begins at the time of registration for the remainder of the month in which registration occurs and continues for a further period of 12 months, beginning on the first day of the month following registration. Registrations are automatically renewed annually unless written notice is received from the registrant prior to the anniversary date of the service period.
One-Time Shipments The fee for one-time shipments is $50.00 and must be received at the time of registration. One-Time Shipment Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including whether or not the shipment occurs. One-Time Shipment coverage is valid for 1 shipment only (single origin and destination). Shipment must be initiated within 7 days of registration. MSDS must accompany registration, if not already on file with CHEMTREC.
Termination of Registration The Registration Agreement will remain in effect until it is terminated in writing and delivered, e-mailed or faxed by the Registrant or by CHEMTREC. After 60 days of non-payment of any fees, the account is delinquent and may be canceled by CHEMTREC.
Reinstatement Fees A $25.00 reinstatement fee, in addition to full payment of any outstanding fees, will be required for reactivation of any account.
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) You are obligated to submit to CHEMTREC, or provide CHEMTREC access to, any and all relevant MSDS covering products shipped by your organization. You are also obligated to maintain the currency of these documents on file with CHEMTREC.
