The U.S. Department of Transportation’s PHMSA Lithium Battery Guide for Shippers 2024 provides a comprehensive framework for minimizing risks, protecting lives, and promoting global trade. From classifying batteries based on their specific hazards to proper packaging, labeling, and training, the guide equips shippers with essential tools to comply with safety standards and prevent incidents. Whether navigating complex shipping restrictions or ensuring smooth international trade, businesses that follow these updated regulations not only safeguard their operations but also demonstrate a commitment to safety and responsibility in today’s tech-driven era.

The 2024 CHEMTREC Summit in Miami brought together over 200 professionals in chemical safety and emergency response from October 15-17. This year's event featured 41 industry experts who led eight sessions and shared 30 presentations on safety advancements, training, and security.

With OSHA’s updated Hazard Communication Standard effective July 19, 2024, comprehensive training is essential for workplace safety.
