Introducing an Additional Keynote Speaker at the #CHEMTRECSummit

We are excited to announce an additional keynote speaker to our opening session of the CHEMTREC International Hazmat Summit. In light of the recent incidents that have occurred in the Greater Houston metropolitan area, we feel it’s critical for industry partners to hear from the emergency responder community.

As a veteran of the Houston Fire Department, Assistant Chief Griffin will speak to the importance of establishing relationships between the public sector and private sector; best practices for incident communication; productive ways to establish joint training initiatives between industry and the fire service; and overall how industry partners can best support emergency responders in the communities in which they operate. 

Assistant Chief Griffin will be joining Astronaut Mike Mullane during the opening session. Astronaut Mullane will present a powerful message on the individual’s role in keeping themselves and their team’s safe in hazardous environments.
